Als weddingplanner op het prachtige Ibiza werk ik met passie en liefde om elke bruiloft om te toveren tot een magisch moment. Maar voordat ik mijn droomcarrière begon, was mijn pad vol met ervaringen die me gevormd hebben tot wie ik nu ben. Misschien vind je het leuk om wat meer te lezen over mijn achtergrond!

Van Droom naar Realiteit

Mijn reis begon jaren geleden toen ik voor het eerst op Ibiza kwam, ik was toen 27 jaar. Wat begon als een vakantie, werd al snel een verliefdheid op het eiland. De unieke mix van natuur, cultuur en de relaxte sfeer zorgden ervoor dat ik wist: dit is waar ik thuishoor. Maar mijn liefde voor het organiseren van evenementen ontstond al eerder.

Organiseren Zit in mijn Bloed

Voordat ik naar Ibiza verhuisde, werkte ik als teamleider op een operationele afdeling van een grote zeevracht expediteur in Rotterdam. Omdat het plannen en organiseren in mijn bloed zit ben ik na mijn Sales, Marketing en Evenementen opleidingen gaan werken als eventplanner. Evenementen, feestjes, groot of klein, ik vond het allemaal even geweldig. Het persoonlijke aspect van een bruiloft trok me echter het meest aan. Het gevoel dat je deel uitmaakt van een van de meest bijzondere dagen in iemands leven en dat op een tropisch eiland met maar op 2 uur afstand vliegen van Nederland is simpelweg onbeschrijfelijk. De uiteindelijke keuze werd door een vriendin mij duidelijk gemaakt, "ga je dromen achterna" zei ze.

Waarom Ibiza?

Ibiza heeft iets magisch. Van de idyllische stranden tot de intieme sfeer die het eiland ademt, het is de perfecte plek om de liefde te vieren. Toen ik besloot om de overstap te maken naar weddingplanner, wist ik dat Ibiza de plek was waar ik dat wilde doen. Met mijn ervaring in het organiseren van evenementen en mijn liefde voor dit eiland, voelde het alsof alles samenkwam.

Nu, 14 jaar verder als weddingplanner op Ibiza, is het mijn missie om elke bruiloft persoonlijk en uniek te maken. Ik luister naar jullie wensen en dromen, en zorg ervoor dat deze tot in de kleinste details werkelijkheid worden. Het eiland biedt zoveel prachtige mogelijkheden, en met mijn lokale kennis kan ik jullie begeleiden bij het maken van de juiste keuzes.

A day behind the scenes with our team

 

The Scene & Venue Setup

Our day begins early, with the sunrise over the stunning Ibiza valley and after months of preparation, we are READY for THE big day.

Our team gathers in a dreamy boutique venue located up north/east IBIZA, for the wedding.

THE perfect place for a romantic wedding and only for groups not bigger than 40 people.

First we start with the furniture and coordination. Everything must look picture-perfect for

the big day!! Sun umbrellas, chairs, table sets, elegant floral arrangements, the bar and the placement, the wedding cake and  among many others we are meticulously arranged.

The wedding planner ensures every detail aligns with the couple’s vision, no detail is too small.

At Midday

Our hostess receive a detailed briefing about the guests and the flow of the wedding.

They are trained to be attentive, discreet, and ensure the guests' needs are met.

Timing is crucial and the guest reception is ready to go. The wedding planner coordinates with the team to ensure everything goes smoothly, capturing the moment with a photographer while our hostess, is busy with the final details at the bar and getting ready for the reception.

(as we only need is Love), cold champagne and soft drinks for the kids.

It’s almost 14.30hrs in the afternoon

The reception and ceremony is about to start. As planned, the event runs on day schedule.

After all the guests have arrived, they have been asked to “take a seat”,

the ceremony is about to start.

The music starts and the bride, groom and their gorgeous children makes their way down the aisle, everyone is looking stunning.

The ceremony is heartfelt, with own personal vows and the beautiful speech of the celebrant,

it’s a dreamy set up and warm, loving experience.

After the ceremony, guests move to the reception area, where gourmet canapes will be served with suitable choices for all dietary needs, followed by picture timings, cake cutting, speeches and a lovely diner with a stunning sunset as the backdrop.

Party at Night

From 20.00 hours It’s party time!! Our team feels satisfied, the wedding has been perfect, the couple and the guest are happy and having a great time!

The evening is unforgettable and they are all dancing under the stars.

The day after

We go for a short visit to meet the just married couple, gather feedback from them and key guests to ensure continuous improvement of our services. Also ensuring all hired items are returned and no one has forgotten lost items or other things. We always work together with venues and before we leave we make sure that all what has agreed, has been done.

We celebrate the successful event of another beautiful wedding in Ibiza!

Het is niet zo gek dat zoveel mensen willen trouwen op Ibiza. Het is een schitterend, magisch eiland, op maar 2 uur vliegafstand vanaf Amsterdam met witte stranden, wuivende palmbomen en een azuurblauwe zee.

Ibiza is een populaire bestemming voor bruiloften vanwege de prachtige locaties en het aangename klimaat en de romantische sfeer. Er zijn veel mogelijkheden voor het organiseren van een huwelijksceremonie, of het nu op een strand, in een luxe resort of in een charmante Ibicienco villa is.
